Armes Vantage Global Privacy Notice

Armes Vantage LLC (“Armes Vantage,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a global cybersecurity advisory and services firm headquartered in the United States with operations in the United States of America, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, and Taiwan.

We provide cybersecurity consulting and advisory services, including fractional CISO support, cyber risk quantification and analysis, incident response assistance, cybersecurity assessments, training, and related professional services (“Services”).

This Global Privacy Notice (“Notice”) describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information (“Personal Information”) when you visit our websites (including https://www.armes-vantage.com and related pages) (“Websites”), engage with us on social media, download resources, attend events or webinars, or otherwise interact with us.

Not Directed to Children

Our Websites and Services are designed for business and professional audiences. We do not knowingly collect, use, or sell Personal Information from anyone under 16 years old.
 

Customer Data Processed Under Contract

This Notice does not apply to data processed by Armes Vantage on behalf of clients during an engagement (for example, within client environments or assessment data). Those activities are governed by written contracts and data protection agreements with each client.

 

1 – Types of Personal Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of Personal Information:

  • Business Contact Information: name, job title, employer, business email, phone number, country/region, and details you provide in forms or correspondence.

  • Account & Authentication: usernames, hashed passwords, access logs, and permissions for client portals or secure files.

  • Technical & Usage Data: IP address, browser type, device IDs, pages visited, timestamps, and approximate location derived from IP address.

  • Marketing & Preference Data: newsletter opt-ins/outs, download history, event registrations, and communication preferences.

  • Event, Webinar & Training Data: registration details, attendance, recordings (with notice), Q&A interactions, and optional biographies you share.

  • Payment/Commercial Data: invoicing contact information, billing address, and limited payment details handled via Banking ACH and PCI-compliant providers.

  • Feedback & Support: information you voluntarily provide through surveys, testimonials, or support requests.

 

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data unless explicitly required for a service engagement and authorized under contract.

2 – When We Collect Personal Information

We collect information when you:

  • visit or interact with our Websites, collaboration platforms, or social channels.

  • download resources or subscribe to updates;

  • register for or attend an event, webinar, or training;

  • communicate with us via email, phone, engagement portals or forms;

  • enter into a service agreement or project with us;

  • provide feedback or survey responses.

 

Our websites use cookies and similar technologies for functionality and analytics.

3 – How We Use Personal Information

We use Personal Information to:

  • deliver, manage, and improve our Services and Websites;

  • respond to inquiries and support requests;

  • authenticate access to secure content or portals;

  • send transactional and marketing communications consistent with your preferences (you may opt out any time);

  • plan and host events and training sessions;

  • secure our systems and prevent fraud;

  • meet legal and contractual requirements; and

  • maintain internal records for business operations.

 

We do not engage in automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Any artificial intelligence used for internal workflows is isolated to use for our company and is not used to train public artificial intelligence platforms. 

4 – Sources of Personal Information

  • directly from you;

  • from your organization (if you act on its behalf);

  • service providers and platforms we use (Google Analytics, Microsoft 365 [SharePoint, Teams, Forms], Zoom); and

  • publicly available or professional sources (e.g., LinkedIn, conference lists).
     

5 – How We Share Personal Information

We may share Personal Information with:

  • Service Providers (for hosting, analytics, communication, and operations) under binding contracts;

  • Professional Advisors (legal, audit, insurance) under confidentiality;

  • Your Organization to fulfill project obligations;

  • Authorities when legally required or to protect rights and security; and

  • Business successors in case of a merger or acquisition.

 

Armes Vantage does not sell Personal Information and does not share data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6 – Legal Bases for Processing

When required by law (e.g., GDPR, UK GDPR, Swiss FADP), we process Personal Information based on:

  • Contract performance;

  • Legitimate interests (such as security, operations, and business-to-business communications);

  • Consent (for cookies or marketing where legally required); and

  • Legal obligations.
     

7 – Security Safeguards

We apply administrative, technical, and physical controls to protect Personal Information, including:

  • access control and least-privilege principles,

  • encryption in transit and at rest,

  • secure cloud services, and

  • continuous monitoring and logging.

 

No method of transmission is 100% secure. You are responsible for protecting any credentials associated with Armes Vantage systems.

8 – Data Retention

We retain Personal Information only as long as necessary to provide Services, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified in accordance with our data retention schedule.

9 – International Data Transfers

Armes Vantage operates globally and may transfer Personal Information to countries outside your home jurisdiction, including the United States. We use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and confidentiality agreements to protect such data. We currently do not participate in any Data Privacy Framework or CBPR certification.

10 – Your Privacy Rights by Region

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • access, correct, or delete your Personal Information;

  • object to or restrict certain processing;

  • withdraw consent (where relevant); and

  • request a copy of your data (portability).

U.S. State Laws (CCPA/CPRA and similar):

  • We do not sell Personal Information.

  • We do not share for cross-context behavioral advertising.

  • We do not process sensitive Personal Information for inference.

  • You may know, access, correct, delete, and opt out as per state law.

  • We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

 

EU/UK/Switzerland:
You may contact security@armes-vantage.com to exercise your rights or file a complaint with your local data protection authority.

 

Other Regions (Israel, UAE including DIFC, Japan, Taiwan):
We will honor applicable rights to access, correction, and erasure as required under local law.
